to Center for Pragmatic Buddhism
Dear Members and Friends of CPB:
This Thursday, we will conclude the month-long series on causality
with a discussion of "karma." In particular, I will present the
historical origins of karma in the Hindu and Jain traditions, which
ultimately gave rise to the Buddhist view of karma as "action with
intent."
We will examine the traditional view of Buddhist karma in light of
contemporary issues, and define its role in Pragmatic Buddhism today.
I look forward to seeing most of you at practice!
With palms together,
Jim, SYX
