fourth reader response- fourth generation

The fourth generation of the Buendias consists of three people. All
three of these people are the children of Arcadio and Santa Sofia de
la Piedad. The three children are Remdios the Beauty, Aureliano
Segundo and Jose Arcadio Segundo. Aureliano Segundo and Jose Arcadio
Segundo are twins and many people can not tell them apart. However,
their personalities are at two different ends of the spectrum. Jose
Arcadio Segundo seems to follow in the footsteps of the violent
Arcadio. Whereas Aureliano seems to become wrapped in mysteries like
Jose Arcadio Buendia was. It's such a comparison for twins; while one
was out fighitng, one was trying to decode the papers the Melquiades
left behind.

Remedios the Beauty appears to be a clueless character. Everyone in
the town envies her because of her beauty, yet she seems to not notice
it at all. It seems as if she's independent by turning all the men
that want her down, but it appeared untrue when she became the beauty
queen of the carnival pandemonium. It seemed as the generations went
on, the Buendia name became less honorable. As a result of all the bad
things Buendia family members did, the name (Buendia) seemed to die
out and it seemed to mean less and less.
