I have a 6th Gen iPad air 2 and cannot play netflix or disney plus on a recently bought projector or on a sony bravia smart TV. I manage to get the home screen of the iPad but when the film plays the picture disappears from the iPad and remote device and only plays sound. Please help

Thank you for your response. I have them on the smart TV but I was trying it because I bought a projector so my son could watch them in his room from the ipad on his wall. Are Netflix and Disney + not allowing any playback other than on the device, no third party playbacks?

Netflix and Disney Plus can be only viewed on the Pad screen with no other way to output the signal or other streaming devices, like an Apple TV box, Roku devices, and maybe even Amazon Firestick and Google Chrome streaming devices to a normal, flat screen TV with HDMI.
