We have created several forms and all work flawlessly on PC. However, the goal is to have the forms on employee's handheld devices (mostly android - rarely IPhones).
They (mobile) will complete the form, partially, and email it back to the office for the office staff to fill in the remaining fields for final completion.
Unfortunately, when the employee (mobile) completes their portion of the form and sends it via email back to the office (PC), the fields are no longer fill-able - basically reverts back to a "normal" pdf file. How do we stop that from happening?
There are also issues on the android devices that some apps fail to display the results of calculated fields, fail to force ALL UPPER CASE as the form has been written to do, etc...
If it were simply a matter of data, we could likely just email the from data from mobile to office and then have the data uploaded back into the original form and be prepared for final completion. Unfortunately, some forms have a page on them where the employees (mobile) must use the pen function to mark on the form itself and these types of 'artistic data' cannot simply be transmitted in a data file.
Understanding our workflow, what android apps have you found that 'shake hands' best, back and forth between PC and mobile devices?
We have tried several apps but keep running into problems. We have been very excited about what these forms can do for us, but implementing them has proven to be a difficult dilemma.
