text box name

I would like the text box to keep its name visible when I create a
pdf, so that when I send my fillable forms, the person filling the
form replaces the name for the information, and the form looks cleaner

This goes in letters, instead of having the box and then the info that
needs to be written,

___________________ (first name)

I need it to replace the name of the field....

_____(first name)_________________

Hi,

 

A good way to do this is to use text box watermark. You can go to text box properties > Options > Watermark.
The watermark will appear on text boxes until user inputs something.
