ANNOUNCEMENT
MONDAY AT 100 CENTRE STREET:
STOP STOP + FRISK TRIAL

On Monday April 30 at 9AM
in Manhattan Criminal Court at 100 Centre Street, Trial Room 535, twenty members of the Stop Mass Incarceration Network and Stop Stop + Frisk will go on trial.  Defendants including Dr. Cornel West, Princeton Professor of African American Studies, will challenge the "justice system" from the witness stand.
On October 21, 2011 dozens of activists and others who have been victimized by the NYPD's white supremacist profiling policy, known as "Stop, Question, and Frisk," held a demonstration in front of the Adam Clayton Powell State Office building on 125th Street in West Harlem.

The group, chanting "We won't stop until we stop Stop and Frisk!" marched across 125th Street, past the Apollo Theater to the 28th Precinct station house on Frederick Douglass Boulevard.  There, 37 activists conducted a non-violent civil disobedience action and were arrested.

Let's make April 30th a prophetic day by showing the world the power of unity.
Join us at our trial and let's fight the system of oppression together.
POWER TO THE HUMAN FAMILY!
