Advocacy's without Justice!

Dear Friends,
For the past two 19 month & counting I have been struggling to find justice for David Flores. For someone to see the mess our system has made with this case as well as someones life. Besides a few of you who have seen the evidence and know that this is just the most un-fair case ever. At least the most unfair we are aware of. Many of you have asked me to contact various groups out there who CLAIM to help victims of Hate crime, tough cases etc...However, as you see in the email below - This is the common response I get. That INDIVIDUAL CASES are not accepted - What does that even mean???
Does Not Mass Incarceration begin with "INDIVIDUAL CASES" does it not start one person at a time and before we know it this monster turns into an epidemic - just like a cancer virus!
Why am I so adamant on getting everyone's attention? Because this is just one person. Have you been to these prisons? Have you met some of the families and looked into their eyes...Have you seen hopelessness beyond imagination. David Flores is one in many faces, stuck in a system which is nothing more than an assembly line to Create dysfunction and ignite fear amongst Citizens.
Notice as you walk around..every little action adds an Arrest threat to it "Cell phone" Arrested, Drugs, Arrested, Parking tickets - Arrested....Seriously? while our country is at war and at the edge of a serious economical collapse this is what we waste our time and energy on, and yet Advocacy's claim to be helping...WHO ARE THEY HELPING???
I need your help Friends..I don't give up easily so even if you spam me or ignore me I will be nagging you till the end of times! Change has to come from us the individuals for the individuals who are left in HELL, a hell we created through our negligence and passive attitude. So much publicity for Trayvon Martin, but when will Justice arrive? So many dead ends for David Flores, yet the Shomrim get awards and command centers & when will his day of Freedom arrive? So many signatures were signed for Troy Davis, yet he was taken away and killed....Don't you see? all this is not effecting the policy makers, judges and prosecutors..because they are used to it and know how to shut us all. The way to get though to them is through the process of elimination. Stand up for our rights and be the voice of Justice for those who cant speak for them selves....not as an organization but as a NATION..fighting for freedom.
While we blog & facebook..more lives are being destroyed every second. if we have to write, lets start writing letters to the commissioner for his resignation & accountability for NYPD actions, There is huge difference between a proto-typed letter and a letter written from the heart...write the DA for justice and write your local politicians that we want change. Write about David Flores or just write in general. DO not get lazy...you can type up a paragraph or two and start writing, emailing, calling - What can we do..???? think people - Think outside the box!!!

The New York State Prisoner Justice Network is an network of organizations opposing mass incarceration, racial inequity, and abusive prison conditions in New York State. The Network is not able to provide any services in individual cases, but it does have a listserv that reaches hundreds of activists and activist organizations.
If you would like to join the listserv, please send some information -- your name, the name of your organization if you are part of an organization, and your connection with prisoner justice work in New York State. You will then receive an invitation to join the listserv, and you can post your request to the entire list.
About David Flores- On Sept 2nd 2010 David Flores was brutally beaten by the Borough Park Shomrim and later accused of attempted murder and other random charges such as Lewd behavior. there is no evidence supporting these allegation and over-whelming evidence creating "reasonable doubt" including eye-witness and 911 transcripts which prove David to be the victim of a hate crime. yet David Flores a Latino is in prison awaiting trial and justice refusing to take a plea - because he is innocent. He is not 17 & he is not African American, but he is a human being caged like an animal for something he did not do.
