CAMPAIGN TO END THE NEW JIM CROW

TOWN HALL MEETING

 

Mass incarceration is fueled by the excessive and race-based policing on our streets and in our schools. Join the Campaign to End the New Jim Crow for an urgent town hall meeting to strategize and collaborate on a citywide campaign against mass incarceration driven by unjust policing practices:

·         Cop watch – fighting for community control and an end to police violence

·         School to prison pipeline – reforming school security practices to end the criminalization of youth of color

·         Study groups – building citywide education networks based on Michelle Alexander’s The New Jim Crow
