Until now there have been two reasons against e-mobility on two wheels: the high price and the network of charging stations that is still poorly developed in many places. But the SUNRA Electric bike GRACE takes care of both of these! At a reasonable price, it is more affordable than many petrol scooters in the 50 cc or 45 km / h maximum speed class, but it is still a fully-fledged two-seater.

According to the very strict EEC certificate guideline, when it is equipped with a 60v20ah lead-acid battery, it can run as far as 55km, which is no problem for some daily commuting mileage. When it is equipped with two 60v20ah lithium batteries, it can reach the maximum endurance of 120km, so that you don't worry about long distance. Front disc brake and rear drum brake work together to guarantee your safety.

The Poise Grace is an electric scooter, available in 2 variants, at a starting price of Rs 97,174.The Grace comes with a Disc brake up front and Disc brake at the rear. You can buy the Grace in 1 colour - Blue.

Scooters are generally safe to drive in the tourism districts of Grace Bay, the Bight, Turtle Cove, and Leeward, however, we advise avoiding the hectic road conditions of Leeward Highway and South Dock Road.

Unlike some other Caribbean destinations, scooters tend not to be any less expensive to rent than economy level cars, especially considering that many rental scooters and mopeds are suitable only for a single rider.

The minimum renter age generally depends on the insurance carrier of the vehicle rental agency. The majority of local businesses require a minimum age of 25 to rent (the same for a car), however, a few companies do have a lower requirement age of 21.

But the folks from the ad agency were nervous. They paced the huge Hollywood sound stage, huddling anxiously with the staff from the Honda home office. Millions were riding on this campaign to erase the old notion that these shiny new scooters were just for nerds. The new gospel: If someone as hip and exotic (and trend-setting) as Grace Jones can ride a scooter, you should ride one too.

Finally: the moment of truth. Four hours after the shoot was to have begun, Jones swept into the room, wearing a black leather jacket (no blouse) and matching pants. Sitting atop a bright red scooter, she rehearsed her lines a couple of times, then read them for the camera.

Plastic scooter with faux wood orange crate. Faux wood crate with California Oranges printed in orange on the side and a California oranges shipping label on top. Green pole across top with two white ropes for dolls to hold handle. Side of box also has Kit written in black. A plank with Grace written in blue and white lettering is on the front of the crate. This is above an opening for Grace's head when she rides in the scooter. Orange base with silver plastic wheels.

Our local parks exist for the common good of the community. But fly-dumping is the embodiment of selfishness. In complete contrast are the volunteers who generously give time to pick litter in the park to make the space better for everyone.

The obstruction that these bikes cause has created a nightmare for partially-sighted and blind people who have a whole new range of obstacles to avoid. Also, those who use wheelchairs, the elderly and those using push-chairs are increasingly finding pavements unpassable.

In many areas e-bikes can continue to be left anywhere, but around half the Local Authorities in London now have specific bays for e-bikes to be left in. But the level of fines for not leaving a bike in the designated zone is often only 2. Nickie Aitken, MP for the Cities of Westminster and London, says that complaints about e-bikes are the biggest single issue she is contacted about:

The arrival of e-bikes are an example of the colossal power of global corporations. Companies like Lime preach their mission in altruistic terms and states its values as safety, sustainability, innovation and community. But it is hard to take their eco-claims seriously when so many of their metal and plastic products are dumped in bushes and block pavements.

There needs to be more regulation and more control of companies like Lime to ensure they operate for the common good. At the moment, the freedom and flexibility of dockless e-bikes is only freedom and flexibility for some. We need to ensure our public spaces remain places for everyone.

Corporations are a form for organising people to get together to provide goods or services to other people. Of course, I agree that people in a corporation should have some responsibility for the product they make available. But the people who use the product also have a responsibility for how they use the product.

This is the kind of behaviour humans go in for. And our public institutions need to guard against it because of the impact on the common good. This is why this post calls for greater regulation rather than better personal conduct because I am talking about the behaviour of a big company who need to be pressured to change their policies. When it comes to regular fly-tipping, I am right back with you on the personal conduct point!

People need the acceptance & affirmation of grace, and also the honesty & reality of truth. This blend is at the heart of personal transformation, social justice and the Christian faith. More details.

They move through the congested streets of every Vietnamese city: scooters and small motorcycles loaded with everything from potted plants to live pigs to families of four with joyful toddlers and sleeping babies who droop dangerously from the arms of mothers. Oh, how I wanted to be among them. But, standing on a street corner on my first day in the mega-city of Ho Chi Minh City, mesmerized by the graceful flow and the constant buzzing that sent waves of joy through my body, I doubted I could survive the anarchy.

Eye Contact Not Optional
In the following days, despite myself, I found myself studying the patterns of scooter traffic wherever I went. I would focus in on one rider and watch how she negotiated the intersections and the turns. When there are no traffic lights, which is often the case, riders flow around each other and around pedestrians, and, when they want to make a left turn at a busy corner, they simply turn close to the curb on the wrong side of the street and cross the oncoming traffic when they can. Like I said: madness.

So, as we set out for a month-long trip through the rest of the country, I decided I would concentrate on learning more about the culture of scooters and motorcycles in Vietnam and leave the riding to the locals.

As I headed back into town I had to stop at a rare traffic light. Two men on a motorcycle pulled up beside me. They had the clothes and the dark skin of men who worked outside and when they started to point at me I wondered, unfairly, if I was in for my first bit of trouble. But as the light changed and we both accelerated they smiled widely with thumbs up. I smiled back and left them in my dust.
