I think you are on the right track if you add citrix server to be allowed to connect from external network that should be ok. Of course, not directly opening your server but in your environment where you have published external link you need to add your server in that pool.
At the most, I have about five or six concurrent users hitting my 4.6 Presentation Server at a time. It may go up a bit when people see how spiffy this new XenApp server is going to be. Probably not to more than 10 or 15 connections at a time though.
The express might fit your needs just fine. The 1Mbps limit is only going to apply to ICA sessions into the XenApp server. Probably plenty for that few users. Of course if you grow beyond then at least having seen and used it might make it a lot easier to justify purchasing at a later date.
I have to discover the citrix xenapp and Xendesktop for which I have enabled the SAM professional plugin. The docs says we need to create a discovery schedule to trigger the citrix license server pattern, but stuck in the part. can anyone help me on this.
