The Creality Print app happily signs into cloud, and uploads without issue, but when I try to send it to the printer from there, it can see the printer (serial number of the CrealityCloud box shows in the app) but constantly shows as offline. Mobile app shows it online and can send the print and monitor it, but still nothing from the desktop app.
Is anybody having trouble with printing from creality cloud as of 2 days or so ago? I slice with cura and upload to creative cloud, try to start a print to my cr-10 smart pro (from web browser and app), and it keeps saying "Printing failed due to failed download of slice files" and the print never starts.
I go back to some of my older slices on creality cloud and they will start fine. Slice those same files and upload to creality cloud, won't start printing. My version of cura has not changed. My only guess is a creality software change effectively bricking my machine, as they have done many times in the past.
When printing a gcode created in Cura 5.2.1 directly from a Creality Cloud print through my Creality 2.0 Box it is generating multiple G29 gcode. My ender 3 S1 Plus goes through 3 auto levelling routines before it starts printing. If I run the same gcode directly from the SD card in the printer it only does the one G29 set up.
Test #1
Sliced a test file with CURA and saved it to my desktop. Then I edited it to remove the G29 code. Used the Creality Cloud upload to place in in my cloud files then sent it to my printer. I was surprised that it did not do any bed levelling at all and started printing as soon as the temps were reached.
I bought a Creality K1 3D printer and used it without any problems, with great results, so I decided to buy a camera, specific to the model, which is capable of showing in real time how the print is going and generating timelapses. When it arrived, I installed it and opened the Creality cloud website, where I can see my printer information online, and the camera was detected but kept loading infinitely.
Troubleshooting and solutions:
1.We suggest avoiding using high-speed mode when printing with ordinary consumables to prevent affecting print quality. If high-speed mode is necessary, consider replacing it with appropriate high-speed printing consumables.
2. We recommend checking the slicing parameter settings to ensure they match the printing consumables and printing models used. If problems persist, please contact our service team for further assistance.
1.Verify that your printer is connected to the internet. If it is already connected, try disconnecting from the current Wi-Fi network.
2.After restarting the printer, reconnect to the network and attempt to update the firmware once again. This process can help ensure a stable internet connection for firmware updates.
3.If you are using an Android smartphone, try creating a hotspot from your device. Connect your printer to the hotspot and check if it can detect the latest firmware and perform the update successfully. Please note that when creating a hotspot using an iPhone, the default, encryption method is WPA2.AES, which may not be compatible with the printer. Therefore, we recommend using an Android device for this step.
4.Alternatively, you can visit our official website www.creality.com / www.crealitycloud.com, and download the latest firmware onto a USB flash drive. Insert the USB drive into your printer and initiate the firmware update process from the printer's menu. This method allows you to update the firmware directly from the USB drive.
The Creality Cloud plugin needs to enable cloud services, and your 3D printing data will be uploaded to the cloud server, such as temperature, printing speed, printing status, etc. More detailed information about the privacy policy can be viewed inside the Creality Cloud App navigating to My Space > About > Privacy Policy
