I keep it with me at all times

What is it?
The Bolt is a combination wall charger and battery. It’s an all in one device. I carry this with me everywhere as you never know when you might need to juice up, and it’s handy to have enough charge in the battery to charge your phone from empty to full at least once (this device can charge an iPhone 5s about 1 and 1/2 times.
Like many devices, I discovered this via Kickstarter. It comes in a variety of colors:

Gray
Red
Blue
Why did you get it?
I like having emergency power with me at work, on the plane and out and about. Having single device that does both charging via AC and battery is awesome.
The device is pretty small and compact and very high quality.
How has it made your life better?
Not life changing by any means, but more convenient.

Wall-Charger and Portable Battery Backup in a Single Compact Device

This is the only unit which functions as both a wall charger or as portable battery backup, that we could find at this time (my daughter originally found this on KickStarter & Photojojo). There are many sources of portable battery power for mobile devices, but either they are USB chargeable, or they take actual batteries, or they have a separate wall-charging portion.
Since it functions as a wall charger as well, when traveling or commuting, you only need to carry around this one single item, and charging cord, and you can charge your phone whether or not you are near wall power. That makes it nice for camping also. I have given a few of these as gifts, and they have been greatly appreciated.
It is useful that it accepts a variety of voltages so it can be used in various locations around the world, but you will need a plug adaptor for most places outside of N. America.
There is a button and some small indicator lights so that you can check
and see how strong the charge is or check charging progress.
A few aspects of the design could be better. Mine is very dark brown, and I would prefer a different color, so that it stands out better (if it got misplaced under some furniture, it might be hard to find). One the other hand, the red or blue models might be too garish for some situations.
I do find the corners a bit pointy due to the crisp edges. It would be nice if they were a bit rounded. It is about 1-5/16 by 1-1/16 by 2-11/16 inches long (3.3 x 2.7 x 6.8 cm), so it is small enough to fit in the snack-size ziplock bags even with a charging cord wrapped around it.
It would also be nicer if there was some sort of provision, such as a recessed portion, or lockdowns, for wrapping a charging cord around it. Right now the cord slides off if it is not wrapped tight. Even better would be some sort of integrated device plugs, so that no cord would even be needed.
I will be in
terested to see if they (or someone else) comes up with an improved version of this device. But in the meantime I am finding this model very useful to carry around.

Pros:
-3000mAh battery inside
-Built in USA prongs to charge smartphone using the USB port and the built-in battery pack
-USB port has a max output of 1 amp which is great for smartphones
-Matte finish all over the Bolt
-When a USB cable is plugged in, the battery pack turns on automatically
-4 blue LED power level indicator (each LED means 25% of the battery's capacity)
-Green LED means the USB port is active and on, which is helpful
-Power button to check to see how much power is left
-UL listed which is important to me
-Comes in a bunch of different color combos
-Very small in size for its high capacity battery
-Can charge an iPhone 5 1-2 times
-Charging prongs fold in to hide them
-High quality construction
No cons found.
Wishes:
-Make the USB port have a 2.4 amp output so it can charge an iPad Air at full speed and most tablets
