Haveyou noticed that your PC is not running as fast as it used to? Do some programs or files take longer to open or load? It may be that your computer's hard disk is too fragmented. With Auslogics Disk Defrag, you can easily defragment your hard disk and recover lost speed.

As you use your PC, Windows OS leaves fragments on your hard disk, which slows down your PC in general when you want to open any file or program, as it takes the system time to find everything it needs. The solution is to defragment the hard disk. With Auslogics Disk Defrag, you can organize the previously scattered information and compact it again on your hard disk as it should be, so that your computer can access it more quickly.

Auslogics Disk Defrag displays an intuitive, easy-to-use user interface, perfect whether you are an expert or not. In fact, it will show you the status of the process through a color scale. Auslogics Disk Defrag will not freeze your computer while it is working, but you can stop the process at any time if you need to. But what really stands out is that while still active, Auslogics Disk Defrag allows you to continue working with your PC.

I would like a batch version. Yes, hear the critics say you can turn on auto start. It is very cumbersome for me, because I often need the machine for presentation purposes and then it doesn't come so...See more

I am using Auslogics Disk Defrag in my computer to defrag my drives. Recently, I change my main system drive into an SSD. I then enabled the TRIM feature in its SSD support settings. Question is, if it's enabled, does the Auslogics defrag my solid state drives using TRIM method or it's just applicable with the SSD Optimize?

Fragmentation is where data on the disk is saved in different areas (called sectors) on the disk. Over time, data gets moved around and jumbled up. The more the data is used, the more fragmentation occurs.

Fragmentation is a performance issue on Spinning Disks, as the 'first' part of the disk is faster to access than the 'last' part of the disk, because the device that actually does the reading has to move across the disk surface, which takes time. Data that resides in different sectors of the disk (ie fragmented), then takes more and more time to read.

SSD's don't have this varying seek time across different areas of the disk, as there are no moving parts. This means that data that is distributed across different sectors, doesn't take any longer than any other sectors.

Auslogics Disk Defrag is a compact and fast defragmentation tool that supports both FAT 16/32, and NTFS file systems. It's supplied with advanced disk optimization techniques, which will remedy your system sluggishness and crashes caused by disk fragmentation.

Copying, deleting, cutting, pasting... we repeat these tasks hundreds of times when using our computer on a regular basis. The result is a hard disk that stores information in a chaotic and disorderly way. Auslogics Disk Defrag is one of the best disk defragmenters for Windowsthe and a solution to these problems.

Disk defragmenters reorganize the information in order to execute faster write and read accesses. This improves the system operation as it will dedicate fewer resources to this task. Thus, it is advisable to defragment the disk periodically.

This is quite a seasoned software with a trajectory of more than 14 years during which it has adapted to the changes of software and hardware that have taken place. Not in vain it is 100% compatible with Windows 11, it implements improvements in the SSD disk analysis algorithms, it has been updating the user interface...

I installed this today, paid $30.00 dollars for it (after using a free verison for years), and after one attemot at optimizing my SSD on my Acer Laptop, the prgram restarted after completion and when it did it no longer has the menu option to actually defrag anything. the only menus i have are "reports" "Portable version" "ask a question" and "auslogics store".

what's going on?

thanks,

Brian

I'm using your standard Auslogics Disk Defran 10, and can never get the level of defrag to less that 13% on my Win 7 disk. No other defrag programs have been able to do any better, the inherent Win defrag running for hours with no improvement.

Any idea how I can resolve this?

Thanks

Used to run fast, I have changed the advanced settings, now running slow,

I guess you cannot know which advanced settings I have enabled, (most of them)

what do you think? and what is your best guess as to my problem?

Hi I have a question regarding scheduel running of disk defragment

If I set the program to run in background does it mean the program still work if I turn off computer?

When I set scheduel running for the program, will it be working if the laptop is not open window?

Can you explain this? I downloaded the "free" defrag version last Saturday. It worked perfectly. On Sunday, I dod my usual maintenance, which includes defragmentation and back-up. Again, it worked perfectly. Today, when I was working I got a message indicating that a "defragment" was urgently needed. So I did yet another defragmentation. Then, for some reason which

I cannot explain, I downloaded the "pro" version of your product. Once it was completed, I did yet another defragmentation. To my surprise, there were files that required yet another defragmentation. My question is, why? Should I really trust that your software is actually doin what it is supposed to?

I signed up and paid my money, got my License Key. Downloaded version 10 and now it acts like I can't use it for SSD's and wants me to buy the "exact same thing again". WTH is going on???

I have just installed a new external hard drive (G) and the drive is not displayed in the list of disks in Auslogics Disk defrag 10. Could you please advise me how to correct the issue.

Sorry but I did not know which sub category was appropriate

Why is it taking 8 hours to only defrag 18 files on an "easystore" 5TB portable HD. 790 files on this HD is said to be fragmented. at this speed, it will take me months to defrag this HD. can I speed up the defrag speed?

Hello

what are the differences between Disk Defrag Pro and Disk Defrag Ultimate ?

If I installed Disk Defrag Ultimate, can I uninstall Disk Defrag

thanks

Paul

I have installed a new 1 TB SSD on my laptop. Your program initially set up to optimize and defrag it. I researched online, and no one recommends doing this as it will dimish the life of the SSD. Questions:

1. Do I need to enable this option?

2. Will using this program to clean up the registry do any damage or shorten life of the SSD?

3. I found online that it is not recommended to shred files on an SSD. If I have sensitve files that I deleted, on a SSD, is it permanently removed/unrecoverable by deletion or I should still use your shred operation?

In all of the above, I just want to make sure your program doesn't damage the life of the SSD. I also want to know if your features affect the SSD negatively or if it is needed at all. What is the positive impact of it on my SSD and operation?

I have both the boostspeed 11.5 and the defrag ultimate

Question:

It seems like the integrated defrag in boostspeed 11.5 is the old version not the new ultimate

What would be the advantage of getting the ultimate version if it is not integrated - what does the integrated version NOT do that the ultimate version does?
