It seems like the cost for gluten free bread keeps going up.  If anyone has a great place they purchase bread or if you find it on sale at any time can you please share?  Thanks

We like Aldi's Live G Free bread. They offer a white and whole grain loaf as well as a wrap that are all decently good for a GF bread. Price is generally under $4 and probably the same size as Udi's, Rudi's etc. it is good toasted, but I like it better than all the rest for a non toasted sandwich. I will place it in the microwave for about 10 sec to soften it up a bit. Works really well.

Hi Group!!
In our house the bread of choice if I don't bake it is, the GF Multi Grain bread from Trader Joes!
When you get a nice soft loaf you can eat it right out of the bag, or sometimes Ijust warm it in the toaster.
Just wish it was a little bigger but the taste is great.
It comes in a while also but we like the multi grain better.

I have found that Schar bread from Walmart is good as far as gluten free. It is not frozen but once open it lasts longer refrigerated, around $5.00.  Food City sells it for about $6.00. Also can be found at Earth Fare.

If you shop at Whole Foods, their coupon book regularly has coupons for gf products including their bread which for the size is worth the price. It is normally $6.45 but goes on sale often and the coupons are for $1 off. The loaf is the biggest you can buy without shopping at costco/sam's. The bread is also fairly good and nutritious. Aldi bread and Trader Joe's tastes a bit like card board but for the price are good. Pure Knead is the best but I cannot remember how much it was but it is hard to find. Hope this is helpful and everyone should join our new forum.

I have tried the Pure Knead hamburger buns and they are great. Found them and their sandwich bread at Kroger in Pigeon Forge on Wears Valley Road if anyone is ever in the area.

The Live G Free bread at Aldi is really good and it is only 3.99 a loaf.  I really like the flavor and texture. They have both white and whole grain.

Recently found and thoroughly enjoyed:  ALL BUT GLUTEN Whole grain loaf.  Not refrigerated or frozen but found in the bread department at Food City.  I have since looked and it is available at Ingles and Publix as well.  It has lasted a week in my breadbox, not gritty, moist and chewy similar to a good evil multi-grain.  Of course the slices are a bit smaller and so is the loaf, but for the first time in 4 years I've actually enjoyed a sandwich without having to toast it or eat it with a fork.  I'm sorry I don't remember the exact price of the loaf, but I know it wasn't in the Warren Buffet range.  The company also makes foccacia, regular white bread, cup cakes, muffins, etc.  We can all find sweets, but a good ol' sammich just hits the spot!  If you get a chance, check a loaf out.  I was happy I didn't have to freeze or refrigerate!
