<amyliffo...@gmail.com>: Nov 06 01:43PM -0500 I had a lady that worked for me when we lived in Florida and she was from Columbia. She cooked plantains all the time, I can't remember what she cooked with them but it seems like it was pineapple with rice. My kids loved it! I saw someone make chips on one of the cooking shows, so I went ahead and bought a couple ripe ones. I sliced one into about 1/4 inch slices, mixed them with some sliced onions, salt, pepper olive oil and butter and fried them in a skillet til they were beautifully caramelized. Yummy, yum, yum! Does anyone use them regularly? I'd love to hear other people's experience with them. > Holly > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Celi-Act" group. > To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an email to celi-act+u...@googlegroups.com. |
