We're always exploring new ways to let creators use more features while keeping our community safe. To help smaller, aspiring creators while preventing bad actors from abusing mobile live streaming, we've created safeguards to limit the spread of potentially harmful content.
After reaching 1K subscribers, it may take several weeks to remove the mobile live streaming limitations. Also, if your subscriber count decreases during this time (due to regular unsubscribes, or the removal of spam or closed accounts) then it may take longer.
There are a number of apps that enable live streaming for mobile devices. Some live streaming platforms have their own apps (for example, Ustream has a mobile app and so does Facebook), which can only be used to stream to that particular platform. There are also a few that are compatible with several different live streaming platforms.

The Broadcaster app is a powerful way to broadcast 1080p60 HD live video directly from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. Powered by HEVC compression, the app provides higher quality streaming with the same bitrate as HEVC predecessors. Viewers will be able to watch your broadcast from an embedded player on your website, Boxcast.tv, or from the BoxCast app on Roku, Apple, and Fire TV.
Download Broadcaster from the App Store, and log in to your BoxCast account, using the same credentials used to log in to your BoxCast account. If you're not a current BoxCast customer you can try the Broadcaster App for free with our free trial.
Please note that data transmission will be disrupted completely if you minimize the app or if you take a call. It's always best to put your device into Airplane Mode, activate Wi-Fi (wifi), and turn on Do Not Disturb. Any phone call or FaceTime will disrupt the broadcast until the call is ended.
Does the Broadcaster app work on Android devices?

RTMP ingestion allows mobile apps to connect to any online streaming software. This is in contrast to platform-specific apps like Facebook, which can only stream on their own platforms. An RTMP-enabled iPhone app should allow you to stream to any video hosting and delivery service that can ingest RTMP video streams.
Larix Broadcaster is our preferred iPhone streaming app. The app is software from Softvelum that supports several broadcasting tools to produce professional-grade broadcasts from a consumer-grade device.
However, it does include several unique features. These include support for external cameras and even drone video. If you are connecting external cameras to your iPhone or iPad, this is one of the best live-streaming apps for the iPhone.
nanoStream is currently only compatible with Dacast for customers on the legacy my.dacast platform application and other third-party OVPs. Our team is working with nanoStream to reinstate this compatibility. Please bookmark this section as we will update it when the integration goes live!

BroadcastMe offers low latency streaming which makes your live videos less likely to buffer even when your viewers use an unstable internet connection. Video is delivered with an adaptive bitrate in either portrait or landscape orientation.
You can use either your rear or front camera when using this streaming application. However, the application does not support rear cameras which means you cannot use a wide angle lens on your iOS device.

To enable live streaming from your iPhone, you need live-streaming software. This could be a platform-specific app like YouTube or other sophisticated software like Larix Broadcaster depending on your level of experience.

My wife has no problem viewing them on her iPhone 12, it's obviously a setting somewhere.. I also have the same issue on my iPhone 8. I click on the camera link and it just constantly tries to load the live stream but that is as far as it gets..
Having the same problem in Safari on my iPad Air 2 after installing IOS 15.0.2. I cleared the history and cache and restarted the device with no resolution. Contacted Apple Support and was directed to install the update to IOS 15.1. Installed the update, and the problem continues. Before installing 15.0.2, I had no issues with these streaming webcams for years. Not sure what else I can try. Any Suggestions?
Same problem with 15.1 on my iPad and Safari so I loaded Google Chrome and webcam streaming works fine. Perhaps a Safari settings issue? I compared all the settings on my iPad with my 15.1 iPhone 8 which works fine streaming webcams but Safari still will not allow webcam streaming on my iPad.
I installed the Firefox app on my iPad and Skyline webcams now work as normal when opened in Firefox. I had the same errors in Safari and Chrome as other users so whilst it is a nuisance this Firefox workaround solves the problem.
