Oneof the best ways to prepare for the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) is by taking a practice exam. FSBPT developed the practice exam and assessment tool (PEAT), a timed, computer-based, multiple-choice practice exam for NPTE candidates.
PEAT helps you identify your strengths and weaknesses prior to taking the actual exam. Questions have been developed by experienced clinicians and item writers in the same format as the NPTE. You get two timed (five-hour), 225-question physical therapist (PT) practice exams or two timed (four-hour) 180-question physical therapist assistant (PTA) practice exams.
When you buy PEAT you have access to two different exams as part of the purchase: a practice test and a retired NPTE form. If you purchase PEAT again, you will receive a different version of PEAT. Subsequent PEAT purchases will result in you getting the version of PEAT you purchased least recently.
When you purchase PEAT you will have ninety days access to the online product. The countdown on your access time does not begin until you start taking the practice examination. Once you log onto the web site and start your first practice exam, we cannot refund your money. Refunds requested prior to the start of the first practice exam will be less a $15 processing fee.
Once you have completed registering and have paid in full for PEAT, you will receive an e-mail confirming your purchase and providing you with instructions on how to access this service. FSBPT will not send a confirmation e-mail until you have paid for PEAT. You will access PEAT through your Customer Dashboard.
No tool can guarantee you will pass any exam. You must understand best practices in ethical fundraising. Passing an exam is not based on how much money you spend or the number of resources utilized. It is based on successfully applying your knowledge across the spectrum of the field. Use of the Practice Exam will not count towards the Continuing Education Points required on the CFRE application.
Interactive practice exams currently are available for the 7 Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) disciplines. Each practice exam contains 50 items and solutions that are representative of the computer-based exam format and content. The practice exam contains item types you may encounter on the exam, including alternative item types, such as fill-in-the-blank and drag-and-drop. The practice exam also provides options for a timed test, immediate solution review, and item specification information. You may access and/or reset your practice exam as many times as you would like for 1 year following your purchase date.
The e-book is a PDF document containing questions and solutions to familiarize yourself with the computer-based exam format and content. Each e-book contains item types you may encounter on the exam, including alternative item types, such as fill-in-the-blank and drag-and-drop. The e-book is downloadable to your device. The 2008 civics practice test is a study tool to help you test your knowledge of U.S. history and government. Use this online tool in English to prepare for the civics portion of the naturalization test. The civics practice test is also available in Spanish, but please note that the actual test is in English.
The actual civics test is NOT a multiple choice test. During the naturalization interview, a USCIS officer will ask you up to 10 questions from the list of 100 questions in English. You must answer correctly 6 of the 10 questions to pass the civics test.
Certain applicants, because of their age and time as a lawful permanent resident, are exempt from the English requirements for naturalization and may take the civics test in the language of their choice. For more information, see our Exceptions and Accommodations page.
On the naturalization test, some answers may change because of elections or appointments. As you study for the test, make sure that you know the most current answers to the questions. Answer these questions with the name of the official who is serving at the time of your eligibility interview with USCIS. The USCIS officer will not accept an incorrect answer.
The instructions and content in this practice civics test are not intended to provide legal advice or guarantee that you will pass the civics test during your naturalization interview. If you have any questions, visit the Find Help in Your Community page.
