Hi,
Looking forward to seeing all of you at our meeting on Tuesday, July 11 at 6:30 pm in the Board Room at WSEC. Please find the Agenda, June minutes, CEF's articles of incorporation, and mission statement examples attached.
In order to facilitate a productive discussion about CEF's mission, spend some time considering CEF. What are CEF's values. What should we be supporting? What types of projects should be priority when we make funding decisions? Do we want to focus on innovative and creative projects that benefit Chelsea students? The decisions we make about what types of projects CEF should fund will drive our mission statement and ultimately our grant program moving forward.
The articles of incorporation provide a great reference point for the original intent of CEF's founders for the organization.
Lastly, we will be voting on the slate of officers for fiscal year 2017/2018. If you would like to nominate someone for President, Vice President, Treasurer, or Secretary please let me know as soon as possible so I can reach out to that person before the meeting. You can nominate yourself. I do have a proposed slate of officers to present. If there is more than 1 candidate for an office, a majority vote decides.
