Marketing Volunteer

Hello! As I mentioned at our last board meeting, we have a volunteer that I met with yesterday. She is going to be perfect! Her expertise is really in marketing, branding, and advertising. She worked in the corporate world for a period of time and then left to write books. She is working on another book now and has volunteered to help us in her “spare” time. We discussed the following:
- Developing a brand for CEF
- Promoting the organization
o Need professional brochures/pamphlets
o Need power points
- Promoting events (potentially the fall kickoff, being present at open houses, etc)
- Developing marketing materials for the upcoming Auction (Garry, she will help with this)
She did have some concern about the fact that the board is “turning over” in September. She wanted to make sure that the full board is engaged in moving forward with a branding/marketing plan. I assured her that was the case, but please respond to this email if you have any concerns moving forward with this and we can postpone until our next board meeting.
