Good Morning MEF,
The next meeting of the Michigan Education Foundation (MEF)
is scheduled for Monday, February 6 from 11-2 in Okemos. Our topic is Social Media Marketing, and we
are pleased to welcome Candy Jones-Guerin, owner of WebWorld Advantage in
Howell, MI (http://webworldadvantage.com/)
Candy will tailor her presentation specifically to K-12
education foundations. She will be with
us from the start of the meeting through lunch and will reserve time for your
questions. Candy is generously agreeing
to present this seminar for free, provided we have at least 25 attendees. We’ll
end our meeting with a brief update on MEF business and an opportunity for
discussion on other K-12 ed foundation topics that are on your mind.
Lunch: There will be
a sandwich/salad bar lunch buffet available ($8 per person - cash or check to
Okemos Public Schools). This buffet is
optional; you can also bring a bagged lunch.
Please note that there are no vending machines available in the
building.
Please respond (only if you plan to attend)
by Wednesday, February 1 and let me know if you will purchase lunch. If you are vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or
have another dietary restriction, let me know so we can accommodate your needs.
I look forward to seeing you on February 6. Call or email with any questions.
