Dear Friends,
I would like to invite you to the first of the monthly Dharma talks
that I will be holding on Sunday night, April 25th, from 7-8:30 at the
Bush Street Wellness Center. The Center is located at 5336 SE Bush St.
2nd Floor.

In these talks I will speak to the heart of issues that each one of
us is dealing with, either immediately in our lives, or in the deep
places in our hearts. I will be sharing basic teachings of the
Buddha, taken through the lens of a 54 year old householder, living in
the early 21st century, in the Pacific Northwest.

In the first talk, I will be speaking about:
-This precious human life.
-Wisdom and Merit-The Absolute and Relative teachings of the Buddha
and how to apply them towards our practice of waking up!
Bodhicitta-The practice of selflessness and compassion and how it can
transform your world.

Please join us as we embark on this exploration of the wisdom
teachings of the Buddha. I would love to see you there! After each
talk there will be a time for conversation on the topic for those who
wish to stay.

I will be holding these talks the fourth Sunday of the month except in
June when it will be on the 3rd Sunday. Once we get started, I will
send out the list of topics to be covered a month in advance. I hope
to see you there!
