Hi Everyone,
With the start of school tomorrow—we’ll be working hard in the next
few weeks to organize the Jack Petrash event and of course get the
word out so we get lots of people signed up for this great event!
How you can help!
1. SPREADING THE NEWS
If you have friends at PWS, Village School, in home Waldorf based pre-
schools, or other Oregon and Washington Waldorf Schools please forward
the attached flyer and registration form by e-mail for the event.
Other places/people we would love to know about the event are local
naturopath offices, anthroposophy doctors, natural toy stores, new
seasons. If you have good local spots please drop by a few flyers/
registration forms!
If anyone would like a stack of color copies of the flyer/reg form
please e-mail and I’ll have them in your box first day of school to
distribute around town and to friends, etc!
2. OVERSEEING CHILDCARE FOR FRIDAY NIGHT
April Westfall has suggested we use Ailara Eastmond, who did the
childcare for the Rahima event. She's an Assistant Teacher at Apple
Blossom, an in-house Waldorf preschool. Cedarwood already has all of
her paperwork, including background check and other forms, so she's
ready to go. I need someone who can help coordinate the childcare sign
up, make sure we have activities, toys, projects for the kids. We need
someone to step up to handle this for Elizabeth to give me the go-
ahead on having childcare that night. If you are interested please
contact me!
3. COURTYARD TABLE STAFF FOR SIGN UP’S
Over the next few weeks we’ll be setting up a table in the courtyard
to register parents for the event, answer questions about the event
and let our parent body know it is a big deal that Jack is flying in
from the east coast for this lecture and workshop! Ideally two people
a shift (either before school or at pick up on Thursday). I’ll have a
calendar and dates on this at the end of the week. Let me know if you
can help here!

Anyone want to help at Back to School night manning a table with me?
We’ll be there to get the word out about the event, pass out flyers,
registration forms and answer questions about the event.
5. STUFF MAILBOXES NEXT WEEK (PROBABLY NEXT MON OR TUES)
Flyers and registration forms need to be placed in every parent
mailbox. We will most likely do this early next week so it doesn’t
get lost in the first week back shuffle. This takes about 45 minutes.
6. FRIDAY NIGHT MUSIC
Connect with Michelle Jarvis about arranging for music on Friday
night. michelle...@gmail.com
Music should start at 6:30. The marimba players are always fun!
