Dear Mr. Vippan Kapur,
i request you & all other residents of Nirvana to consider Gen Sindhu's statement that this is the correct time to include Cedar Crest  - which had been erroneously left out earlier - in a new found spirit of ' bonhomie & reconciliation' as was seen in the open house on Sunday.
With Regards

Vippan ji,

Refer to Para 2 of your mail.

Firstly, is your attachment the finally approved Draft MoA & Bye Laws by the Review Committee, or is it some old document? I presume it is the latter, since all Review Committee members have not signed the revised one. Furthermore, I thought we were to have a final meeting this evening, fair out the Draft, sign it and then hand over to the Adhoc Committee on 02 April.

Secondly, the attachment is in an unreadable MS.docx format - kindly forward again in Ms.doc format.

Thirdly, my view is that Cedar Crest must NOT be excluded from the revised Draft Bye Laws, being vetted by the Revciew Committee. If anything, it is the right time to do so (despite low occupancy) since we will be submitting the new Bye Laws for approval to the Registrar. I thought that was the consensus of the Review Committee, unless I have missed something!!

Do please clarify, in case I have mis-understood contents of your mail below to Mr PS Kohli.

Regards.

Dear Kohli Ji,

A few (necessary ) corrections :

1. The “open house” was not called at the instance of the Adhoc Committee, but by a resident in his individual capacity

2. Please review the attached (approved ) Bye Laws which do not include Cedar Crest - Bye Laws of Nirvana Residents Welfare Association (NRWA) Page 2 a. of 17

Under the circumstances, the inclusion of Cedar Crest can only take place once the Bye Laws (which include Cedar Crest ) are approved by the District Registrar , not prior to the same , as would the eligibility of any member from Cedar Crest ?

Trust this clarifies and we do not err in the choices we make .

Thank you,

Regards,

Vippan

First of all, thanks to the Ad Hoc committee for calling an open house and discussing all points and arriving at a decision. At this point we need to submit only the Scheme to the Registrar, which on approval, becomes a part of the New Bye Laws to the extent contained in the scheme.
The new Bye laws need to be presented by an elected EC to the GBM, which will approve the same. On approval, they need to be submitted to the a Registrar along with form XVI.
I agree with Deepak.
In my initial proposal, I had suggested that Cedar Crest be considered individually. The number of Collegium members and EC members, may be proportionate to the occupancy of the Block. If we follow collegium system, with each electoral college as being one unit, there should be no problem in arriving at the number of collegium members or EC members from CC.
DW Extension, does not exist separate from DW, even if the boundary is maintained. The Plot/Villa numbering is in continuation within DW, and hence can not be considered in any way other than part of DW.
I trust, we will soon have a better Nirvana, truly for the welfare of the Residents and not the elite few.

Brig Ganju,

Please add the following to the agenda.

Why should Cedar Crest and the so called DW extn be clubbed together on the basis of "same needs" when we don't even share a common boundary. This is just like joining two states of Maharishis and Gujarat on the basis of "common problems". There is no such area demarcated as DW extn. It is very much a part of DW.

Thanks
