30-50% OF THE STRENGTH OF EACH BLOCK COLLEGIUM IS RESERVED FOR WOMEN, HENCE 90-150 WOMEN (based on a Maximum strength of 300 Collegium members) WILL BE AMONGST THE COLLEGIUM MEMBERS. THIS IS SUBJECT TO FULFILLMENT OF THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
ANY SHORTFALL IN THIS NUMBER MAY BE FILLED BY ELIGIBLE PERMANENT MALE MEMBERS.
I think we should strongly convey to this review committee:
1. By being a part of NRWA we are not looking for any special status or funds, as seems to be from a mail Mr Chawla wrote to Vippan Kapur, combining DW EXTN & CC, We will only seek our fair share from the corpus for CC betterment, whatever can be achieved from such share.
2. Advocate DW EXTN clubbing with DW itself for reasons discussed earlier in the dissent note forwarded by Deepak to the review committee.
I also suggest we meet with the review committee ASAP to emphasise these issues.
The fight with Unitech is a long drawn battle, whose issues could be avoided at this stage for our proper representation into the RWA first.
