Dear Brig Ganju
I would like to draw your attention to the following, specially at Cedar Crest, since I would not have much idea on this issue at other blocks.
All the under construction houses are pre-dominantly using the Unitech Water supply for all works (I may be partly wrong if anyone is sourcing water from the recycled water plant, but haven't seen any tanker delivery that to any of the houses).
As water is a contentious issue and also that there is a High Court stay on using underground water for construction in Haryana, the importance of its wastage cannot be highlighted enough. Also, upon reporting to the authorities, this will be deemed as a contempt of Court with possible strict action against Unitech office bearers.
Most such houses are wasting water to a very large extent with overflowing and leaking storage tanks, if available, or continuous water flowing into the drains, twice a day!
While I am not suggesting to be a party-pooper for the usage of the Unitech supply for the under construction houses on this issue, wastage of water has to be avoided at any cost.
Though the guards can proactively monitor such situations, but the conduct of the guards is another issue, better not touched upon, along with this topic.
I would request you to bring this up with Unitech at an appropriate level and ask them to be aware of this, more so with the summer season and water shortage looming ahead.
Thank you.
Regards
Ashish Agarwal
