#At this stage ,can only reiterate that the amount allocated by the EC before its dissolution for development of DW (so called extension and CC) shd not be re appropriated and the development done keeping both interests in mind

We can meet in a small group and understand the logic of history on one side and requirement keeping in mind the specific issues.

It is important to understand the root cause of the poor infrastructure in Cedar Crest / DW Extension , as well as identify that the primary responsibility for making good this infrstructure vests with the developer , namely Unitech .
 
1. Cedar Crest has been sold as individual plots , buyers have invested a significant amount of money in building their homes inn these plots
 
2. Unitech has repeatedly stated / advised the futility of completing double laid roads etc. given that :
 
1. The current occupancy is very low
 
2. Construction activity is ongoing - this adds to wear & tear
 
3. They will make good the roads / infrastructure once “reasonable” occupancy levels are achieved  - incidentally they did follow a similar program whist completing Nirvana although  the development was at a much faster place considering they were building and completing Villas .
 
The position of a “special status “ , grants, additional funds etc. to Cedar Crest is simply not teneable as the residents  of DW ,ES , BC, AG cannot either allocate funds towards activities that are the responsibility of Unitech, nor can they provide a subsidy to Cedar Crest .
 
Trust this clarifies matters.

Completely agree with Sachin – there is nothing like DW extn (it really is part of DW). Also as rightly stated by Sachin and also during the GBM/Collegiums meets its was clarified that there will be special status for CC and DW(extn) since they have been neglected badly and some extra funds would be diverted towards better managing/bring at par with rest of Nirvana – the same should be taken care during transition.
 
request the same to be considered as continuity by the NRWA/respective Collegiums while during the change over for DW(extn) to DW.

All - we have been always advocating that there is no DW extension but one DW. Unitech plotted only 5 blocks.
 
So we really appreciate NRWA dropping this extension word in their bylaws. We also support the below initiative but in the same vain we would like to submit that this part of DW should be given similar special status as CC if something like this is being proposed. (for eg any extra allocation etc) as both these blocks have similar issues which need urgent attention.
 
I hope this is OK with all and accordingly will be reflected in our bye laws.

I could not open the document attached to read the para referred by you. However, my submission is to treat DW Extension as part of Deerwood and not club with Cedar Crest. Proportionate representation being the key defining parameter for Number of collegium members or EC representation.
When we are making new Bye Laws under the New Act and submitting a New Scheme, any changes can be effected in the scheme and elections held under it. On approval of the scheme, those changes are taken as having been effected in the Bye Laws, as per the new act.

First of all, thanks to the Ad Hoc committee for calling an open house and discussing all points and arriving at a decision. At this point we need to submit only the Scheme to the Registrar, which on approval, becomes a part of the New Bye Laws to the extent contained in the scheme.
The new Bye laws need to be presented by an elected EC to the GBM, which will approve the same. On approval, they need to be submitted to the a Registrar along with form XVI.
I agree with Deepak.
In my initial proposal, I had suggested that Cedar Crest be considered individually. The number of Collegium members and EC members, may be proportionate to the occupancy of the Block.If we follow collegium system, with each electoral college as being one unit, there should be no problem in arriving at the number of collegium members or EC members from CC.
DW Extension, does not exist separate from DW, even if the boundary is maintained. The Plot/Villa numbering is in continuation within DW, and hence can not be considered in any way other than part of DW.
I trust, we will soon have a better Nirvana, truly for the welfare of the Residents and not the elite few.

Why should Cedar Crest and the so called DW extn be clubbed together on the basis of "same needs" when we don't even share a common boundary. This is just like joining two states of Maharishis and Gujarat on the basis of "common problems". There is no such area demarcated as DW extn. It is very much a part of DW.
