As we wrap up a record-breaking summer of extreme weather, it’s time to head into a fall of bold climate action.    Just last Sunday, a crowd of an estimated 75,000 gathered for The March to End Fossil Fuels during Climate Week in New York City. People from all over the world, including many of our Climate Reality Leaders, chapter members, and staff, marched alongside more than 500 organizations for a united purpose: To end the era of fossil fuels.     Many of our incredible chapters were present, including our Greater New Jersey Gateway, Southern Connecticut, Massachusetts Southcoast, and New York (Westchester, Hudson Valley and Catskills, New York City, Capital Region, Long Island, and Finger Lakes) chapters. Climate Reality Leaders joined from Australia, Switzerland, and Tonga!   And on Friday, September 15, chapter members and Climate Reality Leaders around the world – from Chicago and Nashville to London and Tokyo – marched together to call on their leaders to join the fight for a clean-energy future.     It’s clear: Our future depends on ending fossil fuels.     On a global scale, the time has come for G20 nations to halt spending money to support the fossil fuel industry, enabling some of the world’s richest companies to poison our communities and steal our future.   Join us as we call on leaders of the G20 group of major economies to end these fossil fuel handouts now.
