Shukoor has been active in public and community service for almost two decades and has volunteered with such diverse causes as Lutheran Social Services, Winter Haven Homeless Shelter, State Democracy Foundation, he Ayesha & Ali Padder Foundation. etc. He has also been engaged in various political campaigns including Obama for America (2008), Ike Leggett for County Executive (2006) and Bill Bradley for President (2000). He has also served as the Vice President of the Governor Oden Bowie Democratic Club.

ones.
