I hope everyone remembered to 'spring forward' their clocks this weekend. Sunday morning was certainly a confusing one in my household, as we had different clocks at different times!
It's now time for us to set our clocks and watches on registering voters within the county and supporting our candidates.
These races are going to get tougher and tougher each year, and its easier to register and GOTV new democrats than it is to convince a tea bagger that they're wrong and full of hot air.
The weather forecast says upper 60s and sun for Saturday morning. Myself, Asma Manejwala and (insert you here) will be meeting
up at the Dunkin' Donuts in North East, MD at 9am Saturday, March 20th for coffee and donuts, provided by me.
We will start hitting the doors at 9:30am, so if you're wanting coffee, get there at 9! We usually hit the streets for about 2 or 3 hours, and will be finished up by 12:30, 1pm at the latest!
In the past we've been incredibly successful registering voters in North East, and will be venturing into some brand new construction communities, where people have lived there for less than a year, and certainly need to update their registrations or register for the first time. This Saturday should be a cake-walk, so if you're hesitant about the process, this is the weekend to come out!
If you plan to attend, please RSVP by e-mailing me DIRECTLY at
jobeth...@gmail.com or calling 410-575-DEMS.
Thanks, and hope to see you Saturday!
