Deploying Hermes2 in Weblogic

HI,

I am new for the ebMs and Hermes. I want to deploy hermes2 in weblogic server 10.3.6 with Oracle DB. Can anyone help how/where I need to start? I downloaded hermes2_src_20100121 and tried to build ear file. I just checked the application.xml file it has one of the ejb module abut when I see the jar file i did not see any ejb stuff in that. 

At the same time can you help me in preparing ear file with the Data source support.

Hi, no need for the hermes2_src_20100121 there is already the execute files ready by Hermes2 download it and install it on your server.

   I have added some logging statements in the source files. So I want to build again the ear file and deploy it with data-source to acquire DB connection.

You can do it but already the source code got some error you need to fix it before, i don't have the source without error.

My advice would be to use one of the projects that have been converted to use Maven

These should compile and contain some fixes/enhancements that the source you have may be missing.

I have no experience in using Hermes on Weblogic. Good luck!

Thanks Allan, Let me try and I'll update you if I got successful. Btw I successfully deployed in JBOSS eap 6.2. Can you help me on how I can start testing for the Message signing?
