I totally agree with you ALBiro, unfortunatley the world has changed since the time that we learned by our mistakes and now when someone has an accident they do look for someone to blame other than thier own common sense and as with most things today, you have to cover all the bases.
Hi
Unfortunately a friend was looking after our dog and he escaped
We came back from the uk and had to try and find him.
He had run across a valley and fallen into someone"s pool and died.
It was awful for everyone.
The owners of the pool live in the uk and the pool was left without an adequate cover and no fencing.
If I build a pool I will build a secure fence and gate system around it and landscape it as best as possible
To pull a beloved pet out of a pool dead is one thing -I cannot immagine doing this with a child
I don"t care who is technically to blame(I hate the idea of suing people).
The bottom line is if you or I build a pool it is up to us to guard it.
Kids do roam off.Would you find any comfort in blaming it on the parents.
If we hadn"t had this experience I would probably have thought security is something I would get round to one day.Now the fence will be up before the water goes in
This is on the face of it surprising; naively we would expect people to cast themselves and those like them in as positive a light as possible. Forget about whether these attributions of blame are right or wrong. Even if they were right I would not expect people to believe them as enthusiastically as they do.
Which left, of course, oppression by rich people/countries and the legacy thereof . . . which was already the explanation used for every single failure of the USSR (except by the Trotskyists, who blamed Stalin hijacking the revolution). Why, the legacy of Tsarist rule was requiring generations of expiation in order to build true Communism; of course colonialism would leave a similar legacy! (In the meantime, pay no attention to how the legacy of Japanese colonialism seemed to somehow specifically crush North Korea, while South Korea and Taiwan became rich. They must be being propped up unfairly by the United States with the same money the US is stealing from Africa.)
Some of the blame sure! But the problem was mostly not caused by the Islamic World. The Areas of Europe that were very far from Islamic Influence were not doing dramatically better during the dark ages. Just as the areas of Africa with the lease connection to Europe/China are not doing the best.
Naively we would expect people to cast themselves and those like them in as positive a light as possible. Forget about whether these attributions of blame are right or wrong. Even if they were right I would not expect people to believe them as enthusiastically as they do.
Severity is not the answer to the question. Harding did not say that Nigeria should specially blame the West, but that Nigeria should blame colonization, while the rest of Africa should blame decolonization.
Xavi, the leader and orchestrator in the midfield, has a soccer IQ that is off the charts. Much like a champion billiards player, he can see the game unfold many sequences in advance. He instantly assesses the movement of players and the time and space that is available and makes a pass that, by virtue of its weight and placement, predicts the next play.
How many of these Italian culturalisms have you heard of? Which one surprised you the most? Have you experienced a cultural shock when going to Italy for the first time? Though the harsh terms imposed on Greece went down well in Germany, where most people felt the Greeks only had themselves to blame, the resentment in Greece over what many perceived to be a diktat out of Berlin lingers to this day.
The research in Italy, in particular, shows clearly that the associationsbetween drinking and aggression which we find in Britain, are almost completelyabsent in that country. Italians have very different expectations concerningthe effects of alcohol and the behaviour which is likely to result evenamong the young social groups which frequent the birrerias and discothequesthroughout their country. There is, of course, violence and disorder inmany Italian social settings. The Italian reporting of these events, however, generally fails to attach blame to the consumption of alcohol, stressingsocial factors instead. Only in relation to drink-driving are restrictionson alcohol consumption usually suggested.
I lost a match this one time and I was up a set and a break. I would just say ridiculous things. It was like the Avon Futures in Boise, Idaho and I would blame society because I couldn't serve out my match. They'd give me fishy looks.
How long have you been out of the dating pool? Long enough to fear jumping back in? Some people love dating...many do not. Although you may feel ready for a new relationship, you may simultaneously dread the thought of dating (we don't blame you).
