Dear ECGI Community:

We hope you are all healthy and safe as all of us cope with this
worldwide pandemic.

We are writing to let you know of two CEI developments:

1. Thanks to the efforts of Yesim Serinagaoglu and Shijie Zhou, with
support from Brian Zenger, Lindsay Rupp, and Jake Bergquist, we have a
brand new CEI webpage !!

The URL is the same, https://www.ecg-imaging.org/, but the organization
has been revised and the content has been reworked and updated.

Please take a look and send us feedback ! (Feedback can be sent to me or
directly to Yesim at yse...@metu.edu.tr.

2. Although the format for Computing in Cardiology (CinC) is still not
settled, a CEI committee led by Brian Zenger, Steffen Schuler, Job
Stokes, Ruben Alabau, and Matthijs Cluitmans  has been hard at work
preparing what should be a truly exciting satellite meeting, currently
scheduled for immediately after CinC.  (Brian sent an email to the CinC
Community email list today so please forgive me if you just read about
this there.)

The organizing committee has recruited a truly exciting collection of
representatives from industry who will address the satellite meeting,
likely paired with talks from academic researchers. We hope that this
meeting will really move ECGI in a substantive way towards
identification of key technical challenges whose solution will in turn
lead to greater clinical impact.

It will be also a celebration of the 5 year anniversary of our consortium!

Once the CinC format is decided we will follow up with more information
about the organization and program for the satellite meeting.

In the meantime all of the CEI workgroups are working actively and
collaboratively towards greater understanding and improved accuracy and
robustness of ECGI; see our webpage for details and contact information.

As always we encourage all of you to be in contact with us, to join the
workgroup activities, to let us know if you are interested in being more
involved with CEI, and to send us suggestions.

And please stay safe !

best regards,

Dana Brooks
for the CEI Executive Committee
