The camp will be hosted by the CEC team in the designated ‘Eco-Sensitive’ district of Dahanu. Blessed with tremendous natural beauty, the Dahanu district boasts of large swatches of forests, pristine beaches and landscape dominated by the indigenous cultures. Under the guidance and supervision of the BNHS Education team, the campers will be exploring the natural world; indigenous knowledge systems and livelihoods of the local population and how they seek prosperity in consonance with the natural world.
Dates: 25th May (Sunday) to 28th May (Wednesday) 2025
Camp Arrangements:
1. Comfortable AC bus travel to and fro Mumbai and also within the camp.
2. Comfortable, large, contained AC rooms. (3 kids per room).
3. The camp site is centrally located within the landscape that we cover within the camp.
4. Neat and well maintained campsite with well appointed facilities, hygienic kitchen (providing both veg. & non-veg. food), cordoned play area, swimming pool etc.
5. The ratio of participants to resource persons is 4:1 respectively.
6. The BNHS team includes both males and females.
7. A BNHS vehicle with BNHS staff will travel with the camp and oversee it.
8. BNHS has a huge experience of organising summer camps successfully.
9. A parent can be allowed to join; only if they ensure that they will not interfere in the camp proceedings.
10. To avoid constant distraction due to mobiles we will give the campers scheduled time (every evening) when they can call back home.
11. We will make a group chat and include all parents in it to keep them updated with the kids activities and images.

Instructions:
1. Parents should ensure that they hand minimal cash with the kids and no jewellery and costly items.
2. Participants should carry at least 5 sets of dry clothes with them and their swimsuits.
3. Participants should carry at least 2 pairs of footwear (shoes and sandals) for the camp.
4. Comfortable Bedding will be provided.
5. Participants should carry all their personal toiletries and medicines with them.
6. Parents, pls. let us know if their kids are taking any prescription medicines, so that we can ensure no lapses.
