The Conservation Education Center (CEC) of the BNHS announces the fifth edition of the BNHS Naturalist Training and Leadership Training program.
This is an unique opportunity for naturalists and nature enthusiasts to get acquainted with the different aspects of the Outdoors and the Wilderness. We hereby call upon the young minds to participate in the ‘Naturalist Training Workshop’ and get acquainted in the fields of natural history studies, field biology, geology, heritage etc.
Spanning over two weekends through two over-night sessions, this workshop is bringing to you some of the well known names of natural history, conservation biology etc. to help you understand, imbibe and thereby better represent the cause of ‘Conservation’ to a much wider audience. The workshop will be a mix of field and classroom sessions and will be led by respected personalities from the various fields.
Dates:
1st session: 06th — 07th December 2025.
2nd session: 03rd — 04th January 2026
Workshop Fee:
For non-members — INR 6,800
for BNHS members — INR 6,200
(inclusive of accommodation, resource people, reading material)
PLEASE NOTE: For Food Arrangements and Internal Travel, participants are required to pay another
Rs. 2,200 separately at CEC itself.

Important Instructions:
- Accommodation will be at the CEC. Separate dormitory style accommodations for gents and ladies, with bedding. Separate wash room facilities for both gents and ladies.
- This is a learning oriented workshop. Be ready for some long sessions and schedules.
- Clean, Hygienic vegetarian and ample food along with tea and coffee will be provided in the workshop.
- As mentioned above, the participants will have to pay INR 2,200 per head separately for their food and internal travel arrangements.
- Carry your personal necessities like medicines, insect repellents, toiletries with you.
- Advisable to carry your extra set of dry clothes and stockings.
