       All of the liabiliy forms has been completed and entered on the excel spreadsheet. There are a few that are missing.

 Not bad. just one from church. That's pretty good.

Next time, we shall define our role clearer. Even I can approve the reimbursement form, chairman shall have all the authority to make all decisions if necessary.

 

This time is a little bit tricky because my personally heavy involvement since the beginning.

 

However, I really appreciate Tony’s willing to take a lead. Otherwise, I am definitely overloaded and won’t be effective.

Suanne, could you please check the liability forms folder to see if There is a copy of the Hsu's liability firm  just in case that I have printed them but forgot to check them off in the spreadsheet.  If you cannot find them, I will print another copy out. 

Can you double check the folder to see if I got Nancy Dong's liability form.?

Then all we need is Dr. Joseph Chang's form.

I officially confirmed with Pine Valley about ziplining and archery for free time on saturday, specifically 3:30pm-5:30pm. It looks like for ziplining, the campsite can accommodate about 20 people per hour, for a total of about 40. There is minimum age of 5, but anyone willing to climb up is welcome, providing they weigh less than 250 pounds.

Pastor Allen is supposed to ask the pastoral staff today to see if we can skip collecting offering at the retreat because there is no one to count the offering and someone will have to keep it for the week until next Sunday.

speaking of check-in, tony or suanne will you have a hard copy of attendees so we know what t-shirt size they ordered?

in case someone asks, they cannot change any sizes until they are all distributed.

Yes, I can print a hard copy of the attendees by Friday. I will see if my brother can print it out for me. Do you think we should put on the room key envelope their t-shirt size. What do you think.. I think I have Thursday night and even Friday morning. Kawai is coming with me on Friday, she, kingsley and I are aiming to leave church around 1-1:30pm. Kawai can finish it then for me too. 

She is willing to help me on whatever is needed.

Hi Suanne:

The T-shirt size is already on the attendees spreadsheet sorted by last name.  It is not necessary to make more work for you.  When people check in, you can always check the attendees list to find out what size T-shirt they have put down.

Since I am not too mobile, I can station in the check-in place to help you with check-in.

Let me print a copy of the attendees list for you also and send it along with all the other stuff to church with the liability forms with Senia so you don't have to get your brother to print it for you.

And thank you for printing out the attendees list, that would be very helpful. Pastor Allen's children are great helpers. I will put them too work.

As long as Tony and other Committee members can be in Worthington Hall to take care of the opening ceremony.

 

I can stay at the registration desk all the time on Friday night.

 

Since it will be on the second floor of the office, Vivien may not be good to climb to the second floor. So I can help.

 

I will be at the church office to help. So I can learn how to help registration.

 

So maybe it will be easier for Vivien to stay at Worthington Hall to assist Tony or some other people since she knows everything.

 

Gail can also help too. Maybe Gail can help registration. I can stay outside to guide and welcome our people. It will be cold, cold… But my beloved son said that he would not let me alone stay outside and would like to rotate with me. what a good boy.

 

So let me and my family to help Susanne in registration.

I can handle the registration table. With pastor allen,s children and Kawai helping, it will be fine. Pastor Allen, thanks so much for offering to help. But knowing Gail, she can help me, if she wants too, I will be fine with that. I think with her and I there, your kids will be on their best behavior. Right!, especially joshua. Right,,, the retreat is in the lord,s hands. I have faith that everything will go really smooth and well. God is in control. God will guide us through it all. We just need to trust and put our faith in him that everything will go smoothly. Many people are praying for us. 

We all have our duties and responsibilies to take of, but mostly we should know that we have to work together as a team. Thanks for all of prayers and support.   See ya all there on friday.

One thing we were concerned is for you to grow in Christ as we all work together for the Lord and our people in this retreat.

 

Yes, everything will be fine. And our kids are excited with the possible rain in San Diego and snow in Pine Valley. This time those who commute will be more careful in driving if it does snow.

 

I shall see you tonight at the office. (By the way, the T-shirts look nice. My kids love it as I took out one to take a look.)

as a pastor i think you should be in worthington for the opening, not at the check-in nor outside directing people.  there's a lot of others who can do that.  in fact i will ask someone who received financial aid.

btw suanne if you want to go over what to do for check-in perhaps vivien or i can go over it with you.  when you arrive please familiarize yourself with the campground layout before dark.  i'm sure you'll get questions on how to get to the cabins and worthington.  you can call my cell phone anytime if you need help.  i'll probably be running around to different places.

Hi pastor Allen,

I think that I have grown more. I have never done anything remotely like this before. I have never served on a committee before of any sort. I totally had to trust in god everyday. I didn't,t believe in myself that I can handle this amount of responsibilies. And the amount of money collected for this, in my possession. If you all and pastor steven have that much faith in me to handle all of this, I know that god has much more faith in me to do it.  I really appreciate your prayers and support during this time. I've asked god daily to give the strength and confidence to help me through this. I have meet lots of new people and have gained some experience. I have learned some much. Thank you for all of your help.

Both Pastor Steven Sui and Pastor Steven Chan won’t be there until 7 pm or so.

Hi all,

Kawai li just informed me that her mom would like for her to be home on 2/10 around 1pm, since it is Chinese new year. Kawai  is riding up with me on Friday. I told her that I don,t know so far if anyone will be leaving the campsite early on Sunday. Please keep your ears open, in case someone tells you that they are leaving early that day, to see if they can give her a ride back to church. If not, I know some are not staying over night on sat, maybe someone can give her a ride back. Unfortunately, I have to stay til the end to finalize the final details, and especially on the final payment. So I won,t be able til leave the campsite til at least til possibly by 5pm hopefully. I also have Kingsley in my car too. Please let me know if any of you can help me find a ride for her back. I would really appreciate it. I don,t know if Kingsley wants to stay that long either.
