SpatGRIS4, Update 4.0.2 is now available

VERY IMPORTANT Update: SpatGRIS 4.0.2
Everyone should upgrade to this new version

SpatGRIS4 is a multichannel sound spatializer. The installer includes all the needed files and software, including ControlGRIS2, SpeakerView1 and BlackHole. This new universal version is compatible with Mac (Intel and Apple Silicon) and Windows 10-11.
The new versions were developed in collaboration with the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT).

• SpatGRIS 4.0.2
• ControlGRIS2 2.0.2
• SpeakerView 1.0.1
• BlackHole 0.6.1

SpatGRIS4, Update 4.0.2
- The coordinate system, both Cartesian and Polar, was mixed up in version 4.0.1. Everything is back to normal now.
0˚ is at the front and angles from 0˚ to 360˚ clockwise.
Thus, all speaker configurations will appear in accordance with the first three versions of SpatGRIS.

ControlGRIS2, Update 2.0.2
- Audio Descriptors: the Speed function for Abstract trajectories is now hidden in Sound Reactive mode
- Fixed a few minor bugs

The manuals (English-French) are included within the software in the Help menu, but there are separate versions available if you need them.
The SpatGRIS4 can/should be controlled by the OSC plugin ControlGRIS2, also available here.
There is a QuickStart guide (English-French) for those who want to test it rapidly.

Thanks to Gaël Lane Lépine, the GRIS programmer, and to the GRIS and SAT teams.
