[Call for Works/Call for Papers] 2026 Seoul International Computer Music Festival/Emille (KEAMS Journal)

The Korea Electro-Acoustic Music Society (KEAMS) is pleased to invite submissions for SICMF 2026 and our peer-reviewed journal, Emille. The submission deadline for SICMF is May 31, 2026, at 6 PM (UTC+9), and for Emille, it is September 30, 2026.

Festival Theme
SICMF 2026 particularly welcomes works engaging with traditional music, including traditional musical elements,
aesthetics, and the use of traditional instruments in electro-acoustic or computer music.
Works that do not include traditional music elements are also strongly encouraged to apply and will be fully
considered.
All works are evaluated equally, while works related to the festival theme may be given priority.

Traditional Instruments Support
For selected works using Korean traditional instruments, KEAMS will provide both performers and instruments
(up to 3 performers).
For traditional instruments from other countries, composers are responsible for performers, instruments, and all
related costs.
Attendance & Accommodation
Selected composers are required to attend the festival unless unavoidable circumstances apply.
KEAMS will provide hotel accommodation (2 nights) for selected composers.

Call for Papers – Emille (KEAMS Journal)
Emille is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal focusing on research in computer and electro-acoustic music.
There are no submission or publication fees for authors.
Paper Submission Deadline
