Hi Kasey,

Dominique Thibault (UdM) and I are organizing a CIRMMT workshop across research axes 2 and 4. It’s called the GAMMa workshop (Generative Audio for Music Making). As the name suggests, it focuses on experimental practices with generative audio models for music.

For this first edition, we’ll have Philippe Esling (IRCAM) and Franco Caspe (QMUL) giving long talks. I’d love to see strong participation from Concordia students—both attending and presenting—so their work and sound are represented in this scene.

Do you think you could promote the activity and encourage your students to apply? And of course, it would also be brilliant having you there as well.
