MA in Applied Music and Sound Technologies

Apologies for cross-posting, but I wanted to share details of a new MA programme that may be of interest.

The MA in Applied Music and Sound Technologies will be launching this September at Technological University of the Shannon (Athlone campus), Ireland. This is a one-year, full-time, practice-led postgraduate programme aimed at graduates working at the intersection of music, sound, and emerging technologies.

The course focuses on developing both creative and technical expertise through hands-on, project-based learning. Areas of study include advanced audio recording, electroacoustic composition, sound art and sonic culture, creative coding for music, and instrument design. There is a strong emphasis on collaboration, interdisciplinary work, and engagement with current developments in music technology and digital media.
