Dear community,
As part of the research project “Collaborative Training of Neural Sound Synthesis Models for Musical Performance” at University Paris-Saclay, LISN, in collaboration with IRCAM (STMS lab), I am conducting a series of interviews with artists or collectives who use AI/ML for audio generation/sound synthesis in their creative practice.
This research aims to better understand how collaboration takes
shape in artistic projects involving AI-based sound synthesis,
especially when several people (artists such as musician, visual
artists or dancers, engineers, researchers, instrument designers,
etc.) are engaged together in the creative or technical process.
The project explores how model training might become shared,
co-creative experiences, rather than solitary or purely technical
operations.
I am looking to speak with artists or collectives who:
The interview (approx. 60 minutes) will be conducted remotely,
depending on your availability. The discussion will focus on your
creative process, collaboration dynamics, and your relationship
with generative models in your work.
