Did your summer plans fall through? There's still an opportunity for you to join us as an Ensemble or Workshop Artist!

Rolling admissions continue until June 10.
Apply by Friday May 15 to qualify for on-campus housing.

 

SPLICE Institute is a week-long, intensive summer program for sound artists, performers, and composers to experience, explore, interpret, and create music for performers with electronics. Apply now for SPLICE Institute 2026, which will take place June 21-27.

SPLICE Institute 2026 Highlights

All participants have unlimited access to... 

  • Introductory, intermediate, and advanced workshops on a variety of musical topics and technologies, including Max, Digital Audio Workstations, Performing Using Technology, TouchDesigner, Aesthetics, SuperCollider, and more.
  • Workshops and Activities with featured guests Levy Lorenzo and Nick Zoulek.
  • Nightly Concerts featuring performances by SPLICE Ensemble, SPLICE faculty and guests, and performer participants.
  • Presentations by Institute guests and panels on creativity using technology.

 

Flexible Participation Tracks

SPLICE offers two participation tracks, giving you more opportunities to join our inspiring summer program as an electronic music investigator.

  • Ensemble Artists will participate in one of SPLICE’s awesome improvisation ensembles and present a joint concert during SPLICE Institute.
     
  • Workshop Artists will participate in a variety of workshops and other activities.
