Dear Sir/ Madam,

GREEN Olympiad for Youth (GO4Youth) is open for students in the age group of 18–30 years enrolled in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in India. GO4Youth is implemented by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), with support from University Grants Commission (UGC), Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), and Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India. GO4Youth is an annual MCQ-based examination, available in both Hindi and English. This Olympiad evaluates the environmental consciousness, behaviour, and aptitude of students while fostering awareness about sustainable living, conservation of natural resources, and adoption of eco-friendly practices, aligned with the tenets of Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment). GO4Youth also aligns with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 by promoting sustainability, multidisciplinary learning, and critical thinking. By encouraging application-oriented understanding, GO4Youth contributes to development of informed and responsible citizens empowered to address contemporary environmental challenges.

We request you to kindly encourage students enrolled with your institute to register through the link- https://go4youth.teri.res.in. The last date for registration is May 20, 2026.

All participants will receive e-Certificates. There is also a provision of cash awards and other incentives for top performers in the Olympiad.
