Dear All,

Please find attached the ICT Official response to the news items appearing in various News Papers and the comments circulated by concerned people and also Promoted by some unconcerned outsiders.

Vice Chancellor, Professor A. B. Pandit had briefed the Deans and HoDs about the 'meeting in Mantralaya with the Minister about the ICTs Deemed to be University Status' (as mentioned in the attached Response) in the in one of the Vision meetings held in Jan/Feb 2026. Vice Chancellor as also spoken to the Chancellor, Ex-Chancellor and Prof. M. M. Sharma today and they have been made aware of the stand of the ICT as explained in the attached Note.

This will nullify the argument that nobody knew about this!
