APA CoA Workshops: Master's Self Study, Site Visitor and Chair of Site Visit

APA Commission on Accreditation has several workshops coming up:

1. There is a training for programs considering submitting a self-study as a master's program on Friday, April 25th. This full-day session will be followed by two additional shorter sessions for programs planning to submit self-studies by August 1, 2025. Registration here: Welcome! 2. There will be a site visitor training on May 9th (virtually via Zoom). If you're interested in serving as an accreditation site visitor, please consider attending the site visitor training. Maintaining a sufficiently large pool of highly qualified and available site visitors is important and by conducting a site visit you will be performing an invaluable service. You will have the unique opportunity to work with a team of professional colleagues and learn about methods of educating and training in the field of psychology through direct observation. As a site visitor, you will also have the opportunity to travel and will be eligible to receive 25 CE credits each year you serve as a site visitor.

 

3. The CoA will also host a chair site visitor training on June 17th. If you're a current site visitor interested in learning how to effectively lead a site visit team, please consider attending the chair site visitor training.
