Dear colleagues (apologies for cross postings),

I am pleased to share that the University of Minnesota School Psychology Program is hiring an assistant teaching professor to join our faculty to start in August 2024. Note, this is a new position related to several 5-year grants, so it comes with the option of renewal for at least the duration of those awards. The UMN program is dynamic and forward looking, prioritizing anti-racism, social justice, and the scientist-practitioner orientation across all elements of the program. The person hired will join our team of 8 core faculty engaged in a wide range of research, instruction, supervision, leadership, and community-engaged activities. We have a diverse, highly-engaged student body in our doctoral and specialist tracks and an active school psychology student association. Our work and students are supported by over $12 million in grants addressing equity-centered mental health, MTSS, multilingual supports, and other research and local partnerships.

Please consider applying or sharing with other interested individuals, including upcoming graduates. The Teaching Assistant Professor posting, https://hr.myu.umn.edu/jobs/ext/359710, is open for applications now, with application review to begin in two weeks and continue until the position is filled. The posting includes instructions on how to apply, but feel free to contact me or any other members of our team if you have questions about the program, the position, or the application process. We would also be happy to connect with you at NASP to discuss the position further; please backchannel fgmi...@umn.edu.
