As our CDSPP representative on the CTCC, I’ve been asked to distribute this information to our community. As you can see, there is an opportunity for advocacy on legislation that would impact student financial aid and graduate education.

With the House Committee on Education and Workforce approving the Student Success and Taxpayer Savings Plan last week, a budget reconciliation bill that would make significant, damaging changes to the federal student aid system, I wanted to bring your attention to an APSI advocacy action alert.

 

This alert addresses proposed cuts to higher education and Medicaid. 

 

Please consider sharing this with members of your training councils.
