Hi everyone-

I’m reaching out as CDSPP Chair to request nominations to serve on the APA Commission on Accreditation (COA). School Psychology has two seats on the COA. Franci Crepeau-Hobson will continue to serve on COA until 2027, but we need someone to fill the seat formerly filled by Janay Sander (who has stepped up to be COA Chairperson). The COA evaluates doctoral, internship and postdoctoral residency programs in professional psychology, in accordance with published criteria and procedure. As I’m sure you’re aware, this is a really important and influential position that we need to fill. The term of service for the seat is January 1, 2026 - December 31, 2028.

CDSPP is asking people to self-nominate by sending their CV and a brief email/letter indicating their interest in the position. Please send your materials to me: aro...@gsu.edu

I’ve attached additional information about COA members responsibilities and the benefits of service. Of note, it is important that you can be available for all of the schedule 2026 COA meeting dates: February 4-7, April 15-18, July 15-18, and October 21-24.

Thanks for your consideration.

Best,

Andy

The rank-ordered slate, with accompanying vitae, is due to Jessica Hopey (jho...@apa.org) no later than Friday, July 25, 2025.

For questions about the nomination process, please contact Jessica by email. For more detailed information regarding service on the CoA, reach out to Tia Scales at tsc...@apa.org.

Thank you in advance.
