Life Skills Camp 2010
Dear Guardians,
We are proud to inform you that we have successfully completed Life Skills Camp 1 of 2010 as dated 8th-11th April (26-29 Chaitra, 2066). We would like to request you for your child’s participation in the up coming camp2 dated 30th April- 3rd May (17-20 Baishak, 2067).

We have no doubt achieving following results.
1. Personal Development of students like Leadership, communication skills etc
2. It helps students to pursue the positive behaviors.
3. It helps students to be self motivated and perform well in in-school and outside the school.
4. It guides students to know their field of interest which ultimately facilitate them to decide their interest for secure future.
5. Life skills has a greater impact on each and everybody’s’ life. Every individual should be aware of these skills.
Life Skills Camp 2010
Life Skills are abilities for adaptive and positive behaviour that enables individuals to deal effectively with the demands and challenges in everyday life.
Life Skills Camp is package training of 3 nights and 4 days over night residential program for secondary level students.
Objectives of the Program
ü To increase the personal development
ü To facilitate theoretical and practical aspects of basic Life Skills
ü To develop the leadership capacities of the students
ü To engage in a different activity and experience a new environment for study.
ü To create a friendly environment for learning
However, the main purpose of this program is to provide opportunities for young people to experience life skills, to practice them until they are learned, and be able to use them as necessary throughout the lifetime.
Skills facilitated at Camp
· Goal setting
· Leadership
· Confidence
· Communication
· Co-operation
The program includes Nature friendly; full of Learn with Fun activities by delivering fun, friendship and leadership in a supportive and non-competitive environment away from home.
It consists of introducing various games that promote the learning of these skills through a practical means. Participatory methods, brainstorming, lecture and mini lecture & role play methods etc. are used for conducting the classes.
Additional activities of camp:
Hiking, Treasure Hunt, Games, Competitions And all with Nature
Target Group:
The camp is designed for students of Grade 6 to 10 (12 to 17 years).

30th April- 3rd May (17-20 Baishak, 2067)
Venue:
The camp will be conducted in the ECCA’s Environmental Resource Center- a place designed to provide environment friendly ambience for hosting training, The center is equipped with all necessary facilities i.e. training hall, separate dormitory for girls and boys, toilets/ bathroom, dining hall, playground and spots for recreation activities which is an ideal place for conducting quiet, productive and creative programs away from urban lifestyle.
Camp Cost:
Registration charge of the camp is Rs. 5000 per participant, which includes all cost of food, accommodation, travel, resource materials etc. during the camp.
