Dear all,
Please see below for a list of recent changes that were applied to the CDLI website yesterday night:
SearchTwo new search filters have been added. These filters make it possible to search for artifacts with or without transcriptions, and to search for artifacts with translations in a specific language ("en" = English, "fr" = French, etc.). In addition, it is now possible to search for text in translations in advanced search.
Furthermore, the single-line search mode in advanced search now behaves as expected. If the option is selected it is possible to search for lines where multiple tokens appear. For example, "ka %AND% mi" will return only artifacts with lines containing both "ka" and "mi". Note that in the display of the search results, all occurrences of "ka" and "mi" will still be highlighted, regardless of whether they both occur on the same line.
Catalog editing
A number of improvements were made to catalog editing. The "concatenation mode" that can be selected when submitting tabular data, now works more closely to the original intentions. In addition, it is now possible to embed semicolons in fields by wrapping the entire value in double quotes.
Other improvementsImprovements to several other parts of the website were made, including the display of artifact dimensions.
DataIssues that were found in primary publications are now fixed, however secondary publications are still showing inconsistencies which we are working on fixing.
Regards,
Lars
