Presentation:
(1) Todd Krokowski - XML Repositories - This talk will serve as a
brief introduction to XML repository servers and how they may be used
in XML driven enterprise applications moving forward. An overview of
XQuery will be provided along with a comparison of XML technologies in
the market place today. Following the introductory material, a
discussion on how J2EE applications can best leverage XML repositories
through API's, frameworks, and complementary technologies will be
provided.

About the Presenters:
After graduating from Clarkson University in 2004, Todd began working
for a small DoD contractor utilizing Java technologies to perform R&D
in the areas of image processing and GIS. Since relocating to Albany,
Todd gained J2EE experience through supporting a variety of web
applications and serving as the lead architect behind an enterprise
search solution. Todd's appreciation for XML repositories stemmed from
his work in the enterprise search domain and continues today in his
role as an enterprise architect.
